1. Who we are

Smart Tenn Living ("we", "us") is a renovation company based in Melaka, Malaysia, serving developers and homeowners in Malaysia. For the purposes of this policy we are the "data user" of your personal data. Our contact details are at the end of this page.

2. What we collect

When you contact us through this website we may collect your name, company name, WhatsApp or phone number, email address, project or property details (such as project name, number of units, unit number and target handover date) and anything else you choose to include in your message.

This website has no accounts and collects no payment details. If website analytics are enabled, we collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, approximate region, device type and browser. See section 6.

3. How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and arrange a site walk or showroom visit
To prepare quotations, proposals and project documents
To communicate with you during a project, including progress photos and defect reports
To meet legal and accounting obligations
With your consent, to send you information about our services

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it, only as needed to provide our services, with our site crews and licensed subcontractors (limited to what the project needs), with service providers that handle our email, forms and website hosting, and with government bodies where the law requires. If you are a purchaser who took a renovation package through a developer, we share progress and defect records for your unit with that developer.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for 12 months after the enquiry is closed. Project records (quotations, contracts, progress photos, defect records) are kept for seven years after completion to meet after-sales, accounting and legal requirements.

6. Cookies and analytics

Nothing this website needs in order to work uses cookies. If we enable Google Analytics, the site shows a notice first and sets analytics cookies only after you agree. If we use a cookie-free analytics tool such as Plausible, no cookies are set and no personal data is collected. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request to Google when loading them.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA you have the right to access and correct the personal data we hold about you, to withdraw consent, and to ask us to stop processing your data for direct marketing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We respond within 21 days.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, you also have rights under the GDPR, including data portability and erasure, and you may complain to the supervisory authority in your country.

8. Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel over encrypted connections to an email account we monitor. Project records are kept in accounts protected by passwords and two-factor authentication and are accessible only to the people who need them.
